Planet Eye

I had a fantastic time voicing a group of micro-organisms for this pharmaceutical short film. Ahead of recording, I was sent voice references of cheery, frank, upbeat characters, mostly from American animations. I prepared a few different voice options in this style for the client, and we proceeded with their favourite for the main character (the tour guide). I also provided a range of noise options for the tourists, who were supposed to be children: I pitched higher and breathier, performing a range of mesmerised ooh’s, aah’s, gasps, giggles, and some strange improvised alien noises that human language can’t describe. What a joy!
