The Economist cites Marigold Mind Laundry in its article, “Turn down the K-pop and pay attention to K-healing.” I was drawn to the novel for its focus on mental health. I prioritised a calm, soothing tone and steady pace, hoping listeners would feel transported to a magical world and emerge comforted.
